A standard Australian driver licence is all you need for our 4.5 tonne rental trucks. No heavy-vehicle licence is required. You should feel confident driving a small moving truck.
How many kilometres are included?
The rental includes 300 km. Tell us your estimated travel distance when you enquire so we can confirm the rental details with you.
What happens if I exceed the included distance?
Additional kilometres are charged at $0.10 per km above the included 300 km.
Is insurance included?
Yes. Standard insurance is included in the rental rate. If damage occurs, you remain liable for the $5,000 insurance excess.
What is the insurance excess?
The insurance excess is $5,000 if damage occurs. It is not an additional daily rental charge. We will confirm the rental and insurance details before you collect the truck.
What equipment comes with the truck?
Every rental includes 1 trolley, 1 dolly, 5 moving blankets and a basic furniture assembly/disassembly tool kit with a drill / driver, screwdrivers and simple hand tools.
Is there a tailgate lift?
Yes. A rear tailgate lift is included, along with a practical loading area for household moving.
Can I use the truck for an interstate move?
The service is suitable for local and interstate self-managed moves. Include your pickup location, rental duration and estimated distance in your enquiry so we can confirm availability and rental details.
